Daisy is originally from Taos, NM and completed both an A.S. of Pre-Science at UNM-Taos and a B.S. in Forestry at NMHU through the CCC Program. Daisy interned as a biological tech assistant at the US forest Service Carson National Forest; as a research assistant to Dr. David Inouye at the Rocky Mountain Biological Lab in Gothic, CO; and as an Assistant Ranger at Sunset Crater National Park in Flagstaff, AZ. At Sunset Crater, she developed the Plant Identification guide for the park. She is a State Champion swimmer and can fly all kinds of planes.
