George is from Taos Pueblo and is an active member of the tribe, including having served on the War Chief’s staff. He has also worked in fire, including as a Hot Shot, and has returned to college to advance his career. George completed his associate’s of PreScience at UNM-Taos and is currently working towards his bachelor’s in Conservation Management at NMHU.
