Imani Miller is originally from Las Cruces NM and moved to Taos to enroll at UNM-Taos’ natural resources management program. She works at the Stray Hearts Taos Animal Shelter in the cattery where she loves caring for all the cats. Imani is passionate about getting hands-on experience to develop her skills for a career in either wildlife biology, rehabilitation, or even a reptile veterinarian. Imani is earning an Associate Degree of Pre-Science at UNM-Taos and working towards a bachelor’s degree in wildlife biology.
