Kan Namba

AS Pre-Science @ The University of New Mexico - Taos

Kan Namba grew up in northern New Mexico and graduated from Taos High School in 2004. After working odd jobs and starting a family, he decided to make education a priority and is now studying for an Associates in pre-science at the University of New Mexico-Taos. He plans to transfer to Highlands University in 2022 to get a bachelor’s degree in Forestry. Kan began the CCC-LIFT program in 2019. Through the program, he has been able to intern with the US Forest Service, the Taos Land Trust, and the Taos Soil and Water Conservation District.
