Lisa earned a Masters of Natural Sciences with a concentration in Biology at NMHU. Her advisor was Dr. Sarah Corey-Rivas.

Thesis title is: ‘Metapopulation Structure of Two Sympatric Garter Snake Species in the Mora River Watershed.’

Lisa went on to work as an Environmental Health Technician at the Albuquerque Department of Environmental Health
