She has lived in Taos New Mexico for more than 20 years, and she loves the Sangre de Christo mountains.
While earning her associate at UNM-Taos, she serves CASA as a Peer Leader and Tutor for chemistry, biology and environmental science. She partnered with teachers, Dr. Debbie Ragland and Dr. Brooke Zanetell to assist Environmental Science and Biology courses, respectively, and hosted a weekly chemistry study group. Peggy played an active role on with the UNM-Taos Student Government Association. She held the office of secretary in 2019-2020 and the office of treasurer for 2020-2021.
In Spring of 2021 Peggy graduated with an associate degree in Pre-Science and has transferred to New Mexico Highland’s University to pursue her bachelor’s degree.
